Harvey Nichols‘ Fall/Winter 2012/2013 Presentation was held at Pacific Place on Wednesday night (Sep 12th). I was stunned by the architecture of the stage at first. The stage was filled with a pile of TVs (and the screens were actually working) with big screens around the ceiling. The landscape of the Hong Kong night-view was reflected on all those big screens, giving me the feeling that, “this is really Hong Kong, and this is really fashionably Hong Kong”.
The show was kicked off with some renowned brands like Lanvin, Azzedine Alaia, Viktor & Rolf, Wooyoungmi and Kris Van Assche. Then, it moved to more elegant pieces from Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa and Azzaro.
The glittery dress above is my favorite (like a Cinderella).
This is the design of the stage, amazing huh? As the show also featured some style Korean labels like pushBUTTON, MVIO, J KOO and Goen J, the screen immediately showcased some Korean words and Korean cultural symbols.
This is what I wore at the show, very similar to my last post about my outfit, only difference is the shirt and shorts.
One thing I have to mention, I found out all the champagne served at the show was from Harvey Nichols’ own champagne lines, after asking the staff. It tasted great!
Have a nice weekend!
