There are always big logos, golden labels and metal tags embedded on those luxury handbags, as if the name speaks more than the design itself. Simple as it seems, still not many brands are bold enough to pursue a subtle approach by not showing anything flashy on the handbag and just focus on what the inner beauty the bag can bring to the person wearing it. Today, I see that Lancel does that. To be more specific, the “L de Lancel” bag does that.
The only noticeable feature on the bag – the two L-shaped metal clasps. Simple and chic, in an effortless way.
The Launch Party of “L de Lancel” was held at French Window at IFC Mall. The translucent windows with Lancel’s brand logos work well with the little light coming outside.
How the stage looks like before the show starts.
The bags in the middle of flowers reminds me that summer is really coming soon.
Couch, magazines, coffee, together with the L de Lancel bag, is a Lancel‘s renowned heritage symbolizing a modern woman traveling in elegance.
The candles created a warm atmosphere at the restaurant.
The monochromatic decor of black and white photo frames and lamps reminiscent a vintage library from the Maison.

Lancel’s CEO, Fabrizio Cardinali, just handed a L de Lancel bag as a gift to Amanda S, the model who is pretty and can make cakes. I got a mille-feuille from Petite Amanda and ate it immediately after, so I didn’t get to show you the little cake.
Looking from the top, I want to fill the coffee cup with some latte with a trunk of full milk.
I adore Lancel‘s minimalist approach and the almost-nothing-but-elegant design of the L de Lancel. The colors of black, sand and ivory are nothing but basic, and basics are essential. I could feel that a woman carrying this bag are those who are spiritual, sensible, subtle and quietly confident. Their confidence speaks for itself from their every little smile, posture, movement and words that spill slowly from their soft lips.
Here comes a random poem:
Lying on my Left is a Little Lancel Bag
Roaring on my Right is a Ritzy Rosy Radio
Hoarding in my Heart is a Hysteric Handsome Hawaiian
