This season is absolutely the season of silk scarves thanks to the revival of the 60s and 70s trends. Luckily, Hong Kong’s weather puts us in advantage of being able to wear scarves for at least a few months before the hard winter hits the city (well, not as hard as in Europe).
I love this electric blue silk scarf from Christian Lacroix that I found in Switzerland. It gives a bright contrast to the black and white outfit.
Nowadays, there are still a lot of young women who think that wearing scarves would make them look old. It’s the opposite indeed, as long as you pick the right color for your age, and also you knot the scarves in the right way (here’s a tutorial for the weave knot). Younger women should always take bright-hue scarves to look young and vibrant. This season is all about maximalism and colors anyway, isn’t it?
